The annual Whitecap Winterfest will take place this Saturday at Gull Lake. The celebration begins with an Elks Pancake Breakfast at 9 a.m. in the Gull Lake Community Hall. The U 9 Tournament will last all day at the rink, and there will be a draw for the button event from 2pm to 4pm at the Curling Rink. There will also be a trade show, horse-drawn wagon rides, kid-friendly crafts, and hockey.
The Gull Lake Tourism Committee is hosting a free show at 1:30 p.m. featuring Saskatchewan's top children's performer, Danny Kazam. From noon until seven o'clock, you may sample delicious foods at the food and drink fair. At 2:30, you can be a part of the renowned pie eating contest.
The evening will culminate with fireworks at 7:30 p.m., followed by Cabaret and live music with Rock Candy at 8 p.m. For a detailed list of all the day's events and times, please see the event link below.
