The Autumn House Independent Living Facility is preparing for an exciting fundraising event on February 1, 2025, with special performances by acclaimed musician Tim Hus. The main goal of the event is to raise funds for fixing the facility's air conditioning system, which recently broke down, affecting the residents' comfort.
A letter issued by the facility outlines three ways for community members and businesses to assist with the fundraiser:
Monetary Donations: Financial contributions will help cover event costs, enhance the fundraiser's success, and maximize its impact.
Silent Auction Contributions: The event will feature a silent auction, and the venue seeks donations of items, gift cards, services, or experiences to auction. Contributors will not only support the cause but also increase their visibility in the community.
Live Auction Donations: Autumn House is also looking for larger donations for the live auction, which will take place between Tim Hus' performances. Items such as a portable generator, BBQ or smoker, sports memorabilia, travel packages, or electronics would be greatly appreciated.
The letter states that all monetary contributions will be acknowledged with a charitable tax receipt, and contributions exceeding $500 will come with two complimentary tickets to the event.
Community members and businesses are encouraged to contribute by donating at Autumn House, the Town Office, or by contacting any board member. Those interested in discussing sponsorship or specific silent auction items can call 306-741-9079.
