Every year the Gull Lake Tourism Committee with the help of businesses, organizations, and individuals transform the campground into "Christmas Cove." Christmas Cove has a number of long-time supporters who faithfully decorate the Cove every year, and it also sees new entries. This year through December I will feature the decorated sites on Gull Lake Events.
The Knox United Church has been a long-time supporter of Christmas Cove. The church is located at the corner of Price Ave and Second Street. The site is decorated to remind us about the true meaning of Christmas. If you are out and about or traveling through Gull Lake be sure to stop in and check out Knox United Church Christmas display at the Gull Lake Campground.
Today the Cove has 17 sites only four more sites needed to tie last year, which was the best year ever for Christmas Cove. There is still time for you to decorate a site. There is no need to book a site, just choose an empty one and decorate. The cost is $20/site to help cover power costs, payable to Gull Lake Campground. Payment can be made at the Town of Gull Lake office.
