December Library News
We are getting gin the Christmas Spirit at Gull Lake Library! We have been sent our annual “Christmas Block” that contains Christmas stories for all ages. Children’s books, adult fiction, magazines for decorating and crafting ideas, audio books, DVDs which includes the light-hearted and “always happy ending” Hallmark movies!
We are currently still in “Phase 3” of the Saskatchewan Libraries re-opening plan. Patrons are now able to browse as they like, which includes touching the materials. Returns are still being quarantined for 24 hours and there are no late fees right now. Don’t panic if you’re getting notifications about something you may have already returned due to the quarantine period. Masks are required for entry and please use the sanitizer before you browse or use the computer.
Did you know we have a puzzle exchange? If you have some puzzles you’d like to donate, bring them here to be shared with others! It’s definitely puzzle season with the snowy weather so come on down to see what we have!
We were very honoured to receive a generous donation from the local Maple Leaf Rebekah Lodge. Thank you for thinking of the Gull Lake Library.
The Library will close for the Christmas holidays starting Thursday December 24, 2020 and will re-open on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Happy Holidays from the staff of Gull Lake Library!
Librarian Carla Orton and assistants Rita Munshaw, Norine Torwalt-Downey and Emily Jones.
