There is a new exhibit that can be seen at the T. rex Discovery Center, and it is a Tylosaurus dinosaur. Mosasaurs, of which tylosaurs are a species, were large marine reptiles that preyed on other animals and were closely related to modern monitor lizards and snakes. At the end of the Cretaceous period, a vast inland sea covered the majority of present-day Saskatchewan, where they lived 72 million years ago.
The T.rex Discovery Centre can be found in Eastend, a popular tourist destination in Southwest Saskatchewan with a wide range of things to do and see for the whole family.
