Brian Walters, a dedicated Gull Lake local and volunteer fireman, has been selected as the Saskatchewan Volunteer Firefighters Association's (SVFA) Training Coordinator.

Seven years ago, Brian arrived at Gull Lake from Ponteix to serve as a paramedic with Gull Lake EMS. He joined the Gull Lake Fire Department, bringing with him 19 years of invaluable firefighting experience. His extensive background in emergency services and experience as an instructor with the SVFA make him perfectly suited to oversee the training programs for volunteer firefighters throughout the province.

Brian's new responsibilities with the SVFFA will include lining up instructors and scheduling courses for volunteer firemen across Saskatchewan. Join us in congratulating Brian Walters on his new role ensuring that Saskatchewan firefighters are well-prepared and trained to protect our communities!
