The South West Chronic Disease Support Inc. hosted a lively and packed Bingo night on Friday at the Legion Hall in Shaunavon, bringing together a packed house of Southwest residents for an evening of fun and fundraising. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees and donors, the event raised over $4,000 to support chronic disease resources in the region.

The organization extended its gratitude to the many individuals and businesses that contributed to the success of the evening. Special recognition was given to Jim and Patty Wright for preparing and supplying dessert trays, ensuring guests had a sweet treat to enjoy. Appreciation also went out to Jim Wright, Vic Ross, and Duane Illerbrun for their efforts in managing the bar throughout the night.

Adding to the excitement, Derek Tremere took on the role of Bingo caller, keeping players engaged with his entertaining style. Volunteers from RBC staff were also acknowledged for their time and dedication in helping the event run smoothly.

The success of the event was made possible by the hard work and dedication of the South West Chronic Disease Support Inc. board members, who worked behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their collaborative efforts reflected the organization’s guiding principle: “Many hands make light work.”

The details of the event were originally shared by South West Chronic Disease Support Inc. in a Facebook post, highlighting the incredible community support that made the night a success.
