Transforming Waste into Resources: B & L Tire Service Becomes TSS Return to Retailer for Scrap Tire Recycling

Rural tire service building with Firestone sign and Canadian flag. Dirt yard with tires in front, clear blue sky.

Exciting news for tire recycling in our community! B & L Tire Service is now a Tire Stewardship of Saskatchewan -designated ‘Return to Retailer’ store, allowing them to collect scrap tires at no cost.

Here are the details:

  • What They Accept: Scrap tires that are free of rims and debris.

  • Daily Limits: Up to 10 tires per person, per day.

  • Planning Ahead: If anyone is planning a big cleanup, a phone call is appreciated beforehand, as space is limited.

Important Reminder: Tires should not be dropped off in front of their gate. Every drop-off requires a completed form, and clear access to the back of their shop is needed for the service truck.

This initiative makes tire recycling accessible and convenient, while contributing to a cleaner, greener community. B & L Tire Service is excited to take this step toward sustainability!

For any inquiries or to schedule a drop-off, please contact them at 306-672-3212.
