Vehicle Causes Damage to Fire Hydrant and Swimming Pool Grounds

This morning at approximately 12 a.m., an unidentified vehicle collided with the Fire Hydrant at the intersection of Second Avenue and Conrad Avenue. After colliding with the fire hydrant, the vehicle went through a section of the pool's fence and struck some trees. The vehicle continued through the pool grounds near the fence, hit another tree, and drove through another section of fence back onto the road.

Despite colliding with a fire hydrant, a fence, and a tree, the vehicle was able to leave the scene. At this time, the total cost of damages is unknown, but a fire hydrant costs approximately $10,000.
